If you're not following it, I highly recommend you acquaint yourself with everything going on in the New Hampshire Ernie Willis rape trial. A plethora of articles on the subject may be found here. Mr Willis pleads guilty to statutory rape and is currently being charged with forced rape. The girl was impregnated, packed off to raise the baby in Colorado, had it put up for adoption, and is now 29.

But the person who SHOULD be on trial is the pastor who used this occurrence as an excuse to gossip and humiliate her, by twisting the words of Old Testament Law. It's disgusting disgusting disgusting. I've met the pastor. I don't remember anything about him except he seemed nice. I cannot believe someone's mother would allow all this to happen.

But then, i cannot believe someone's mother would watch while her husband kicked their eldest daughter out, called her worthless and a piece of shit, and allow all that to happen. So yes.
